When is worship?
Our divine service is held every Sunday at 8:00am and 10:30am.
During the summer, our services are held every Sunday at 9:00am and Thursday at 7:00pm. (Changes may occur so be sure to check the calendar!)

What can I expect when I visit?
You will hear from God’s Word that the problems and difficulties we have in this life are the result of sin, but that God sent his Son Jesus to save us from our sin. When Jesus died on the cross he reconciled us to God. When he rose from the dead he guaranteed our forgiveness and eternal life. Our salvation was accomplished 2,000 years ago with the work of Jesus. When you visit, our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will comfort your heart and give you the inner peace that only Christ can give.

How should I dress for worship?
Come as you are!  We’re all unique and have many different tastes—that’s how God made us. Dress the way you feel comfortable. You will still hear God’s word no matter how you’re dressed.

What is a worship service like?
Our worship services are Christ centered. Jesus Christ's life, death, and resurrection are the foundation of our faith and the focus of our worship.  God's Word and the Sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Communion are the means, or tools, God uses to give us his forgiveness and blessing. We follow a liturgical divine service, the historic pattern for Christian worship that has used for centuries. While we use mostly a pipe organ and piano to accompany our singing, we try to make use of a variety of musical styles and instruments.

Can I come to communion?
At Cross of Christ we practice what’s called “close communion.” We want people to know exactly what they’re receiving when they come to the Lord’s Supper. Communion is also an expression of unity of belief in the teachings of the Bible. So we ask that only our members—or members of our wider fellowship (WELS, ELS)—come to communion. We invite our guests once they’ve taken a class for church membership. This class teaches and reviews all the teachings of God’s Word. Be sure to let the pastor know if you’d like to take the class.
